Parent Teacher Meetings
Thursday 21st November - 6th year meeting Wednesday 27th November - 5th year meeting Tuesday 14th January - 3rd year meeting Pupils are invited to attend the above meeting. Pupils must attend in full uniform Wednesday 22nd January - 1st and 2nd year meeting (parents only) Please Note: Meetings begin at 4:15 and end at 6:45. To avoid traffic and parking problems please do not arrive before 4;15 to allow school buses and parents collecting other children to leave the school grounds. Parents are asked not to bring other children to these meetings |
School holidays
October 2019 mid-term break
All schools will close from Monday 28th October 2019 to Friday 1st November 2019 inclusive.
Christmas 2019
All schools will close on Friday 20th December 2019, which will be the final day of the school term. All schools will re-open on Monday 6th January 2020.
February 2020 mid-term break
Post-primary schools will close from Monday 17th February 2020 to Friday 21st February 2020 inclusive unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures. Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the February mid-term break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 19th February 2020.

Other Closures
As part of the introduction of the new Junior Cycle schools will close for two days for teacher training in their subjects
On Tuesday 8th October 2019 school will be closed for all pupils to allow teachers to attend training provided by "JCT - Junior Cycle for Teachers"
On Tuesday 11th February 2020 school will be closed for all pupils to allow teachers to attend Cluster Training Seminars in the region. A number of other school in the area will also be closed that day as teachers come together in subject groups for Continuous Professional Development
