Academic Achievement Awards 2017

These awards recognise outstanding academic achievement by members of the Leaving Certificate Class of 2017. They also acknowledge the high level of motivation, self-discipline and hard work that was required to achieve academic excellence and success over the five or six years that they spent in Moyne Community School. Getting a H1 which is between 90% and 100% in any subject places these puts pupils in the top 5% of students in the country and in some subjects it’s as high as the top 3%  and some of these students have achieved more than 1 H1. So it’s not an exaggeration to say that  we recognise the outstanding academic achievement of these students and of course the central role that their families and friends have played in this achievement.
