Appeal System for Permanent Principal and Deputy Principal Appointments

The Department of Education has set out an agreed appeals system for Permanent Principal and Deputy Principal Appointment.

The agreed system is set out in CL0062/2021 which can be accessed by click on the link below.

The circular contains the Appeals form that should be used Appendix A
An electronic version of the Appeals form is available in the management bodies and unions websites. Only forms submitted electronically will be considered

Candidates who may be considering appealing a position should read revised Circular Letter 62/2021 before completing the Appeal Form.

Appeals will only be accepted on the Appeal Form and within the timeframe for the Appeal Date. Submission of appeals plus supporting documentation shall only be made by electronic means (including via email).
