We have been informed by Bus Eireann that school transport for the the 2024/25 school year will commence on Monday 26th August 2024
Based on this criteria it is planned that students will return as follows
Monday 26th August 2024 1st year pupils only Tuesday 27th August 2024 3rd year, LCA 2 and 6th years also return Wednesday 28th August 2nd , LCA1 and 5th year also return TY return Thursday 29th August

Monday 30th September 2024 School Closed
Thursday 21st November 2024 and Thursday 30th January 2025(Provisional) School closed to students to allow for Staff Junior & Senior Cycle Training by Oide
October 2024 mid-term break All schools will close from Monday 28th October 2024 to Friday 1st November 2024 inclusive.
Christmas 2023 All schools will close on Friday 20th December 2024, which will be the final day of the school term. All schools will re-open on Monday 6th January 2025.
New Bank Holiday Closed Monday 3rd February – new bank holiday February 2025 mid-term break Post-primary schools will close from Monday 17th February 2025 to Friday 21st February 2025 inclusive unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures.
Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the February mid-term break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 19th February 2025.
St Patricks Day School will be closed Monday 17th March 2025
Easter 2025 All schools will close on Friday 11th April 2025, which will be the final day of the school term, unless changes are required as part of contingency arrangements to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures. Where contingency arrangements are required a school authority may reduce the length of the Easter break by remaining open up to and including Wednesday 16th April 2025. All schools will re-open on Monday 28th April 2025.
May Bank Holiday School will be closed on Monday 5th May 2025
Friday 30th May 2025 will be the final day of the school year
