Agreed Report January 2018 Meeting Moyne Community School The members have welcomed the additional allocation of Leadership posts to the school as per CL003/18. The process for appointing these positions will commence following consultation and guidance from ACCS.
The Board received the DES Inspection Report for Science, Ag Science and Biology. The members discussed the findinsg and offered their congratulations to the subject department. It was agreed to accept the report without comment.
The principal informed the members of the requirements of the Child Protection Guidelines for Primary and Post Primary Schools 2017 and the requirement for a risk assessment and a Child Safeguarding Statement. He informed them of the documents that they should read and that he will bring these policies to the next meeting.
The Board have now agreed prepare a policy on staff leave.which will set Guidelines and requirement for Career Breaks, job Shares and Secondments. Agreed Report February 2018 Meeting Moyne Community School The approved the Annual Accounts for the 2017 school year.
The Senior Boys Rugby team will compete in a Leinster final on 8th March in Donnybrook. The members wish them and their coaches luck.
As per CL0081/17 there is a requirement to provide two half day training sessions to staff on new Child Protection Guidelines by means of closing school for this purpose. Monday 12th March was suggested as the date for the first of these. This was agreed by the members
